Dangerous Don Cafe combines the best of two treasures from Mexico – mezcal and coffee. It is made in Santiago Matatlan by master Mezcalero Celso Martinez. Using 100% Espadin agave and NaomQuie Coffee, grown using natural methods in San Gabriel Mixtepec, on the Oaxacan coast, by the Mendoza Ramirez family, Dangerous Don Cafe is a testament to the craftsmanship of its producers.

Dangerous Don is handcrafted in the traditional artisanal way.  The agave is roasted in a pit, fermented and distilled which makes a tasty, smoky, fresh spirit. Superb on its own or in a Mezcal old fashioned. Dangerous Don Cafe is distilled twice and the distillate is then steeped in coffee beans before a third distillation produces the final product.

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Hints of chocolate, bonfire smoke, nuttiness on the nose

Taste: Coffee appears on the palate. The nuttiness is still present. Together it reminisces the warm familiarity of hot chocolate and coffee.

Finish: Perfect smoky bitterness on the finish
